I have been a hairstylist for 28 years and have been a co-owner of Strandz Salon for the past 13 years. I began my career in a rural part of NY state, where I worked for 2 years with a Matrix educator in the salon. I moved to Wilmington in 1995 and have only worked at a few salons before Robin and I decided to open up Strandz together. We have been co-workers now for 24 years. As a stylist I really try to get to know each individual client that sits in my chair and develop a relationship. I really listen to what each individual likes or does not like about their hair. What's their end goal? Our clients become family to us and I look forward to seeing them every week, month, or year! It's something new each and every day! When not behind the chair or tending to salon business you can find me on the beach, boating, or on the golf course. I have 2 daughters, my youngest has recently joined us at Strandz Salon as a stylist and my oldest is in Durham working towards Physician Assistant School. I also have a Maltipoo, Lily, who is sometimes the salon greeter.
